The Royal Military College of Canada Library
The RMC library staff have prepared a Research Strategy online tutorial to assist students in locating resources. The tutorials cover the following areas:
- Getting started
- Formulating a search
- Searching for books
- Searching for journal articles and conference papers
- Searching for web sites
- Locating books, journals and conferences
- Evaluating sources
- Citing sources
and include a Research Strategy Form that the students can fill out as they move from one topic to the next. The tutorials can be used alone or in conjunction with a library tour, and can be adapted for particular subject areas.

We have an instructional lab available that can seat around 20 students, as well as the Leadership Collection Reading Room with seating for up to 60. Please supply the following information:
- Course
- No. of students
- Location (library, classroom or lab)
- Desired date
- Desired time
- Alternate Date(s)
- Length
- Other information (e.g. resources/services that you would like mentioned, assignments that the students will be working on...)
