The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - Indigenous Hire Cluster

The Royal Military College of Canada (Kingston) is at the beginning of its journey towards rising to the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. We are seeking to build strength and capacity within the professorial corps of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities with a view to supporting unlearning, learning, and intellectual development of the learner-Officer Cadets who study here.

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is the largest faculty at RMC, comprising seven departments and serving as the academic home of approximately two thirds of learner-Officer Cadets at the university. We are seeking to learn from, and with, Indigenous scholars across six departments, and solicit expressions of interest from First Nations, Inuit, and Métis scholars working in the areas of:
