Prerequisites - Department of Applied Military Science
Army Technical Staff Officer Programme (ATSOP)
Achieved the rank of captain, major or the civilian equivalent;
Have field and staff experience;
Military candidates should have completed CAFJOD and ATOC, or equivalent;
Have a university degree; and
Possess Level II (SECRET) security clearance that does not expire during the course.
Army Technical Warrant Officer Programme (ATWOP)
Achieved the rank of Warrant Officer or Master Warrant Officer, or the civilian or allied equivalent;
Have field experience and some staff experience or instructional experience at their arms/service school;
Successfully completed the Intermediate Leadership Program (ILP);
Grade 12 Ontario or the equivalent, or have demonstrated the Academic ability to complete the program (ie, completed POET training or taken continuing studies courses at the community college or university level); and
