In her free time, Ms. Lord strives to create spaces for social and linguistic exchange so that everyone feels welcome in the community, whether at the College or in Kingston's various community groups. Among other things, she leads Francophone happy hours, is occasionally involved with Kingston Latino, and when she has time, performs in theater with Les Tréteaux. She is also interested in issues of inclusion and exclusion and enjoys participating in various training programs that can help her better understand the issues her students face.
