Dr. Paul Chan and his students attended the 27th International Conference on Nuclear Engineering in Tsukuba, Ibaraki, Japan in May 2019. 

Lt(N) Jae Song presented his paper entitled "Best-Estimate Plus Uncertainty Analysis of CANDU Fuel Reliability Using Manufacturing Data and Simulated Core Data" and won the best presentation award in front of 22 countries.  Jason is a PhD student in nuclear engineering in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.  His co-supervisors are Drs. Paul Chan, Hugues W. Bonin and Mahesh Pandey (University of Waterloo).
