These topics are investigated numerically and experimentally (wind tunnel, water tunnel and flight test), from both fundamental and applied points of view. This research is sponsored by the Department of National Defence (DND), by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and by MITACS. Some works are performed under the auspice of the Technical Cooperative Program (TTCP) and NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO), others in conjunction with DND's Aerospace Engineering and Project Management (AEPM) Division and with NRC's Aerodynamics Portfolio for R&D in unmanned air vehicles (UAV), and fighter aircraft, as well as in collaboration with Carleton University.
