May Convocation

In order to safeguard the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff, and in accordance with the Canadian Armed Forces and Ontario provincial guidelines on COVID, the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) will be restricting in-person participation for the May Convocation ceremony to ROTP Cadets only. Details of the Convocation are to be sent to the Cadets in the near future, however be advised that no family or friends will be permitted to attend the ceremony in person.

Degrees for all other students, whether military, civilian, undergraduate or graduate will be conferred in absentia. Diplomas will be mailed out to the mailing address that graduates have entered in My Services or on their applications to Graduate. RMC will also mail out three copies of the Convocation programme with the diplomas.

The Convocation Ceremony is very significant to our graduates, their families and friends and RMC will be videotaping the entire ceremony, which will be available on the RMC Facebook page in the days following the actual ceremony. The Commandant and Principal are very sorry to have had to make this decision but we all hope you understand the extraordinary measures that need to be taken during this difficult time.
