80th Hockey Game Between RMC and USMA Set for January

December 8th, 2015 – The Royal Military College of Canada will be hosting the 80th installment of the historic hockey series with its American brethren from the United States Military Academy.

This year’s game will be played on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 at the Rogers K-Rock Centre.  Puck drop is set for 7:30 PM.

Army and RMC will be playing for the 80th time, with the Black Knights holding a 43-29-7 advantage in the series.  RMC does hold a 17-15-6 record at home in this series. 

“We are very excited to be welcoming USMA back to Kingston and the K-Rock Centre”, said Darren Cates, Director of Athletics at RMC; “This game is always intense and exciting to watch and filled with history and traditions.  If you haven’t been to one and enjoy hockey, I encourage you to attend!”
