OSAP Information

Full time graduate students with Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) loans may apply for a continuation of interest-free status using the Continuation of Interest-Free Status/Confirmation of Enrolment form.

This form does not apply for students who are taking out OSAP loans for the current year or those who study part time. You must wait until the current school year to begin before this form's submission.

Students are advised to contact Sophie Pepin, RMC's OSAP Coordinator for more information, and for the completion of section 3 of this form:, x 6013.

Although those enrolled in the thesis or comprehensive courses may be paying "part time fees" you may still be considered a full time student for tax/osap purposes.

Maximum limits on NSERC stipend pay

Note that there is no longer a college policy limiting the maximum value of NSERC stipends which a student can receive.

Maternity/Patenity Leave

Students paid by NSERC funds are eligible for four months of parental leave.
