Once the review has been completed your name will be added to our Part-time Sessional Instructor Inventory, where it will be kept for an indeterminate period.
With this application, you will only be considered for temporary and part-time opportunities. Opportunities for permanent and full-time positions are posted on the Royal Military College of Canada website and often further advertised in University Affairs magazine and the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) Bulletin.
Please be aware that RMC, as part of the Department of National Defence, must follow Federal Government staffing and contracting rules and regulations and that preference will be given to Canadian citizens.
In addition, a prerequisite for the engagement of both onsite and online instructors is that individuals must undergo a security screening. If you are contacted for an opportunity, you will need to provide the following documents:
- DND 330-23: Personnel Screening and Authorization form, including your addresses for the last five (5) years,
- Foundational and supporting documents,
- Employment and personal references (name, address, email and phone number); and,
- If you have lived outside of Canada in the past five (5) years, you will need to provide a criminal record check from each of the countries that you lived in, at your own cost.
