Dr. Elghamrawy is an Assistant Professor at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Royal Military College of Canada. Dr. Elghamrawy holds a BSc degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering (2009) and an MSc degree in Engineering Mathematics and Physics (2013), both from Cairo University, Egypt. In addition, she holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (2019) from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada.

  • Digital Signal Processing, and Multi-Resolution Analysis.
  • Intelligent Multi-Sensor Systems with Applications related to Positioning and Navigation of Autonomous Vehicles, and Mobile Robot Systems.
  • Machine Learning-based Positioning, and Intelligent Transportation.

  • Interference Coordination for Millimeter Wave Communications in 5G Networks.
  • A Comprehensive Analysis of the Performance of Multi-Frequency, Multi-Constellation GNSS Receivers Under Challenging Interference/Spoofing Scenarios for High-Dynamic Platforms.

Graduate Students

Dr. Elghamrawy is actively seeking graduate students whose research interest coincide with her. Graduate students would be expected to work on the Research Projects listed above, or in reasearch areas that align with her research interests. Funding is available for selected graduates students.
