Dr Damian O’Keefe has a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He has 30 years experience in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), retiring at the rank of LCol. During his CAF career, he served in several capacities as a Personnel Selection Officer, which include an exchange posting with the Australian Army Psychological Corps and teaching at the Royal Military College of Canada.
Dr O’Keefe has represented Canada on Technical Panels as part of the Technical Cooperation Panel (TTCP) programme that dealt with Human Resources and Survival Psychology. More recently, he Co-chaired a NATO Research Task Group on ethical leadership and is the Past-Chair of the Psychology in the Military section of the Canadian Psychological Association. For fun, Damian is a flying instructor.
Dr O’Keefe is currently employed as an Associate Professor at the Royal Military College of Canada. His research interest includes ethical leadership and occupational personality.
