Nabila studied French language and literature, then earned a master’s degree in French language teaching in 2012 from the University of Paris V–Sorbonne. Her interest in the field was further strengthened by her specialization in the master’s program “Interculturality and Illiteracy,” which draws on disciplines such as sociolinguistics, anthropology, and adult education.
All of this led her to become a training coordinator at a vocational rehabilitation center in France (Régie de quartiers de Nanterre). Convinced that skills development requires a holistic approach, Nabila has also worked as a reintegration counselor.
Upon her arrival in Canada in 2020, she began teaching for the CAF across the country, then went on to supervise teams of instructors from the Kingston garrison. She joined the college team in Kingston in 2024, where she teaches French as a second language.
