Health Promotion - Strengthening the Forces

  • Strengthening the Forces, under the Directorate Force Health Protection, is a Health Promotion program designed to assist Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) members, to optimize performance through a variety of techniques and strategies. Maintaining a high level of health improves one’s ability to perform effectively and safely on CAF operations, and to enjoy a high quality of life. The emphasis in Health Promotion is prevention of health-related topics as opposed to treatment.

    • Health Promotion initiatives are free and open to the entire CAF Community; Reg and Res Force members, retired military personnel, civilian employees and their families (over the age of 18).
