Dr. Emilie Gibeau has been a faculty member of the Department of Management at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario, since 2019. Dr. Gibeau holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in administration from HEC Montréal and a B.Com from McGill University. Her research and teaching interests are in organizational behaviour and organizational theories. Specifically, her research focuses on silos and how to break them, dyadic and triadic leadership, participation in strategy, structural mechanisms for diversity and inclusion, and healthcare administration. She is the co-founder of the High-Intensity Organizations Research Group (HI-ORG - https://hi-org.ca/), a multi-disciplinary research forum focusing on shared leadership, interprofessional collaboration, and organizational transgressions. Her research has been funded by federal (Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada and Canadian Institutes of Health Research) and provincial (Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture) research-funding agencies. Her research has been published in refereed journals in English and French, as well as in edited collections.
