One of the CSC’s key roles is to help clients make connections to the many support services at RMC, at CFB Kingston, in the CAF, and in the Kingston community.
Current students, staff, and faculty can access a comprehensive collection of resources on academic skills, learning challenges, wellbeing, and other topics on the Success Centre’s Moodle page.
Academics
- RMC Academic Accommodations office manages academic accommodations for N/OCdts—that is, it enables students with disabilities or other limitations to fully access the curriculum through support measures which may include adjustments to their learning opportunities and environment.
- Academic advisors advise students in their departments about academic challenges and opportunities, as well as academic progress and course selection. View a current (2026) list of academic advisors here.
- The RMC Registrar’s Office is responsible for admission, enrollments, the calendars, the class schedules, student records, document production and the convocation.
- The RMC Math Help Centre provides drop-in tutoring to help students with mathematics.
- The RMC Writing Centre assists students with any written assignment or presentation through one-on-one tutorials.
N/OCdts can also consult with peer tutors, who operate out of the Success and Writing Centres. Consult rmc.mywconline.com for a schedule of peer tutor availability and information on the courses they can assist with.

Health

- For N/OCdts, the RMC detachment of 33 CF Health Services is the primary care provider/family doctor. 33 Health Services is the primary point of contact for both mental and physical health.
- As CAF members, N/OCdts also have access to dental benefits, available through the Dental Unit Detachment of 33 CF Health Services
- Specialist and other medical services may be provided by the Kingston Health Sciences Centre.
- As CAF members, N/OCdts are eligible for supplemental health care benefits to cover the cost of prescription medications, vision care, and other expenses.
- The Health Promotion unit at CFB Kingston and the Kingston Military Family Resource Centre) provide a range of events, resources, and services to support the health, morale, and wellbeing of CAF members, including N/OCdts at RMC.
- The Sexual Assault Centre Kingston (SAC) is also available to N/OCdts. SAC provides free, confidential, non-judgmental support for all survivors of recent and/or historic sexual violence.
Counselling and Welfare
- For N/OCdts at RMC, the primary point of contact for mental health concerns is 33 CF Health Services.
- RMC’s Chaplain Team offers spiritual, religious, and pastoral care to all CAF members who are posted to, attending, or working at RMC and CDA HQ, and to their immediate families.
- The Sentinels are a network of CAF volunteers (at RMC, N/OCdts and military staff) who are trained and coordinated at RMC by the Chaplain Team. They provide peer support, human contact, practical help, support, and referrals to other resources.
- CAF members also have access to a number of mental health services as well as the CF Member Assistance Program.
- The Resilience Plus network is a unique team of faculty, staff, and students devoted to fostering resilience, cultivating strength of character, promoting positive leadership, and enhancing overall wellbeing. Resilience Plus provides training and mentoring informed by rigorous research. Email: resilienceplus@rmc-cmr.ca.
- The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a professional, confidential, proactive service to support you and your family members with a wide range of personal, family and work-related concerns. These services are designed to enable a proactive approach to supporting your wellbeing.

Diversity and Inclusion
- Agora: Agora is RMC’s 2SLGBTQI+ support and social group. It provides a safe space for all N/OCdts and members of the RMC family, along with a fun and relaxed environment. Email agora@rmc-cmr.ca for more info.
- The Athena Network: The Athena Network provides RMC cadets with unique opportunities to cultivate professional, academic, and social connections through mentoring and networking, all through a gendered perspective. It aims to help current students connect with ex-cadets and current and former CAF members, supports a variety of women’s initiatives, and fosters discussions about gender at the college. Career and Finance
- SISIP Financial Services can provide financial advice to CAF members, including N/OCdts at RMC.
- The Personnel Selection Officer provides career counselling to all N/OCdts at RMC. Cadets interested in exploring career paths, switching trades, or other questions concerning their careers in the CAF are welcome to come speak to the PSO. Email: rmc.twpso-ospee.cmr@forces.gc.ca
- The Kingston Garrison Learning and Career Centre (KGLCC) provides learning and career opportunities to CAF members at CFB Kingston.
